Everyday Household Plumbing Problems
Modern plumbing is a wonderful thing that keeps our homes healthy and clean. When there is a problem with a home’s plumbing, an expert plumbing contractor needs to be called to make sure everything gets back to normal. This video explains some of the most common plumbing problems contractors are faced with.
Oftentimes, homeowners will be dealing with a simple clog that prevents their drains and toilets from working properly. If you’re plunger and some drain cleaner aren’t doing the job, a plumbing contractor can use a specialized cable known as a drain snake to clear the issue and allow your drains to work properly again.
Another very common issue is a leak. Leaks can cause excessive water damage and increase your water bill. If the leak is not visible, check for water damage and increased costs to know if you need to call a plumber. The plumber will use the drain snake with a camera and light attached to identify the hole. Some excavation may be needed to fix the issue, but it’s important to not let the leak grow out of hand.
