Pulling Off a Last Minute Move
Preparing for a last-minute move is a stressful affair. However, sometimes life throws you a curveball and you’re left in a tight spot. You need to be focused and move fast to pull it off. This video will give moving tips to anyone who is going through a last-minute move.
The first thing to do is decide whether or not you need a moving company. If you’re moving a multi-room house, you’ll want to invest. Moving companies will charge more for last-minute scheduling, but it’s worth it. If you’re moving a smaller apartment, it may not be necessary. Perhaps you only need to rent a truck or van.
The next step is to get rid of the things you don’t need. Now is not the time to get sentimental about that high school gym t-shirt that has holes and hasn’t been worn in years. Get rid of anything that isn’t necessary.
Pack an overnight bag and then get to work. Don’t worry about labeling boxes, just get things packed. You can sort it out at the new location. For more information on how to pull off a last-minute move, check out the video in the link above.
